European Revolution Portugal, Spain, Greece, Italy, Ireland: Southern Europe Must Revolt Against Price Stability; That Depends A Future of Prosperity Or Deep Depression"; Christopher T. Mahoney Ex-Vice President Moody's

Southern Europe Must Revolt Against Price Stability
It’s time for a revolution in the eurozone; the time for polite discussion has ended. What is at stake is not a percent or two of economic growth in the South, but rather the difference between a future of prosperity and a future of depression. The mindless happy talk of unity, solidarity and an ever closer union is now irrelevant and in bad taste. People are eating out of trash bins, and an entire generation is living on the dole.

If the South continues to permit the North to administer the poisonous medicine of monetary deflation and fiscal austerity, it will suffer needlessly for years. Yes, we all know that the ECB was modeled after the Bundesbank and part of the deal for Germany was that the euro would be as strong as the mark. But that was then, and this is now.

The eurozone is a multinational republic in which no country, no matter how high its credit rating, can act as hegemon. Germany has just two votes on the ECB’s governing council, not control and not a veto. Germany is  just another member of the union, and the Bundesbank is just another regional branch of the Eurosystem. The ECB treaty was not intended as a suicide pact, and it can be interpreted liberally enough to permit what has to be done. If the constitutional court objects, then Germany can exit. She can’t force anyone else to.

The revolution must be led by France, Italy and Spain. They have already acted together at the last summit, when Monti refused to adjourn until Merkel made major concessions (since rescinded) about bank bailouts. These three men, Hollande, Monti and Rajoy, must form the nucleus of a bloc within the eurozone that demands open-ended QE until eurozone nominal growth rises to the mid-single-digits, and stays there.

First of all, there may already be enough votes on the governing council to ram QE through the Berlin Wall. Failing that, the bloc can refuse further austerity and threaten exit unless the ECB capitulates. Sadly, Mario Draghi is a cipher in all this, having sworn allegiance to the single mandate in order to get Merkel’s approval as president. He cannot lead the rebellion, nor would it be appropriate for him to do so.

What I am advocating is a public break with the Bundesbank and its ideological satellites, and a categorical rejection of minimal nominal growth and fiscal retrenchment. The Southern Bloc must demand nominal growth targeting, unsterilized bond-buying, and an end to self-strangulation by austerity. Those policies have been tried and they have failed for two years.

The South cannot balance its budget without inflation, nominal growth, and rising nominal government revenue. Structural reform is nice but at this stage quite irrelevant. Budget cuts and labor market reforms are not and must not be a prerequisite for nominal growth. Those are shibboleths unrelated to medium-term growth, and they would be much easier to implement in the context of growth.

Before this heart-rending tragedy is over the South will revolt, but probably when it is too late. The time is now, before Spain and Italy are forced to drink the Troika’s strychnine and arsenic. France, as a continental leader with market credibility, must lead this effort. Germany and its allies will think twice before going mano a mano with France.

The cost to the creditor powers will be higher inflation and a decline in value of their claims on the South, but that must occur one way or another. Inflation is much preferable to repudiation, which is the only other viable alternative.

Maybe it would be more prudent to conduct this revolt in private, but my sense is that it can only work as a public ultimatum. Europe successfully stared down Russia on many occasions during the cold war; she can do the same with Germany today.

OWS World Revolution Antibanks Music: Talking Italy, Portugal, Spain Austerity! Michel Montecrossa! Occupy Wall Street

Talking Italy, Portugal, Spain Austerity

Michel Montecrossa's 'Talking Italy, Portugal, Spain Austerity - song for 15 October 2011 Global Mass Protests'

Michel Montecrossa says:

"The song 'Talking Italy, Portugal, Spain Austerity' is dedicated to the Global Mass Protests of 15 October 2011, the day of Global Revolution for change in finance and politics.
'Austerity', 'Downgrading', 'Bail Out' are slogans used by bankas and politos to hide the simple trick of taking away the people's tax money and giving it to the banks and the rich so that the 99% get poorer and the 1% gets richer.
Italy, Portugal, Spain, Greece and always more countries are threatened by this wrong banka and polito action.""

Song Lyrics
TALKING ITALY, PORTUGAL, SPAIN AUSTERITY
Now they drive us down the road of pain, / the people of Italy, Portugal, Spain. / Just as they do it with the people of Greece / they downgrade us to favor the rich.
A war rages between politos and bankas / for power over us, the people. / The bankas now win almost every day / and drive us down the poverty way.
People wake up! People stand up! / The people know what the people need! / The people can set the people free! / The people, you know, the people are we!
Banka speculators want our tax money / to become bail out funds for them, / want control over us, the only real value, / by turning us into cheap and mindless slaves.
Politos are there to help the people, / not to join the banka-gansta-gang. / Politos must change the financial game, / put right what went wrong for a happy end.
People wake up! People stand up! / The people know what the people need! / The people can set the people free! / The people, you know, the people are we!
People wake up! People stand up! / The people know what the people need! / The people can set the people free! / The people, you know, the people are we!

traduzione testo - Talking Italy, Portugal, Spain Austerity

I bankas ora vincono quasi tutti i giorni

facendoci diventare schiavi a buon mercato e senza cervello.

Indignati Italy OWS YesWeCamp Anon Guarding Italian Parliament World Wide Revolution

World Revolution Occupy Wall Street,  Arab Spring, Tahrir Square, Spanish Revoution, Portuguese Revolution Iceland Revolution style becomes World Occupation. #OccupyWorld

The Iceland Revolution, the people that punish polititians and Bankers Banksters Gang Máfia (ignored by corporate media) that starts in 2008 cause criminal actions of corrupt polititions and bankers that generate Iceland bankrupcy and people reaction against politians and bankers, becomes #OccupyWorld for Real Democracy.

The time has come to exit out of the networks, talk and engage all people.

Walk On. Rise Up! Get Up! Take The Streets and Squares!

Get Up from the chairs and demonstrate outside in the streets and Squares, our desire for change.

These guys have slept on the floor tonight, because they want to send the signal that there is a desire to change how actually politic works.

In times of economic crisis the government (of both parties) is imposing always increasing taxes on people while keeping their full privileges.

Our politicians are the most expensive of whole Europe, each of them earn each month 30 to 60 times what an average italian do and they work only a couple of days a week. They only have to work for 3 years. If they succeed they get paid for their whole life (they draw their pension) while a normal italian has to work for (at least) 40 years before retiring from work. Moreover they have free cars, museums, cinemas, stadiums, food, flights and so on while they hold office.

You can't even imagine how many privileges they have.

We (italians) pay for everything they ( and their family ) do.

This has to come to an end. They are italians like us and they have to pay the economic crisis too. They must pay their restaurants, their private travels and amusements like everyone of us do.

For this reasons we are protesting.

The people in the picture is not homeless. They are people like me and you, like your sister, like your father. They all have a home but they are there!

They are guarding the Italian parliament (Montecitorio, behind the picture) , to the bitter end.

Politicians are trying to hinder them in order to make them stop (the police did not allow them to mount the tents hoping to make them go home)...Police didn't succeed. People slept on bricks because we all strongly believe we have to do something to change this.

There are people among them who have been on hunger strike for more than 3 months..

Politicians are trying to ignore them (forcing the media to ignore them too)....

But they do not succeed...people is still there..and their activity spreads on the Internet...

..and you? what do you do to change things?

You do not need to go there to sleep on the floor, just click on "Share", please. Even if you don't live here in Italy we need all the Italians to know what's going on. They will surely join us.

If italian press ignores us we need someway to force them to talk about us. Maybe some international press will give us the visibility we deserve.

On my public timeline you will find some other pictures of what happened yesterday (so you can have an idea of what's going on)

NO LEFT NO WRIGT WINGS
DIRECT DEMOCRACY

REAL DEMOCRACY NOW

TUTTI? No, non proprio tutti.

Ci prendono in giro, su tutto, destra e sinistra.

Sono persone come me e te, come tua sorella, come tuo padre.

I politici stanno provando a ignorarli (e a farli ignorare dai mass media)....

DEMOCRAZIA DIRETTA!

Power to people.
Thank you for all the help you could give us.

DRY INTERNATIONAL June19th Against the Euro Pact: TAKE ALL STREETS AND SQUARES OF ES-UK-FR-DE-IT-PT AND EUROPE

THERE ARE NEW POWERFULL REASONS; ONCE AGAIN, TAKE THE STREETS

June19th, hour: 19:00.

ALL STREETS AND SQUARES OF PORTUGAL SPAIN ALL EUROPE AND ALL AROUND THE WORLD

Protests around the world from Real Democracy now and another organizations against the europact.

DRY INTERNATIONAL June19th Against the Euro Pact: TAKE ALL STREETS AND SQUARES OF ES-UK-FR-DE-IT-PT AND EUROPE

THERE ARE NEW POWERFULL REASONS; ONCE AGAIN, TAKE THE STREETS

June19th, hour: 19:00.

ALL STREETS AND SQUARES OF PORTUGAL SPAIN AND EUROPE

NO TO THE EURO PACT: We are not goods in the hands of politicians and bankers.

The EURO PACT: New attack on democracy ONCE AGAIN.

ONCE AGAIN, the EU leaders endorse a policy misleading the public to the benefit of large financial corporations, instead of defending the citizens.

On 27th June, all European governments, including that of Spain, will sign in Brussels a major socioeconomic daylight robbery of an international scope: the so-called Euro Pact, by which the politicians of the European Union agree to legislate the orders of the International Monetary Fund (IMF), European Central Bank (ECB) and the World Bank (WB).

Failure to comply with these orders means, the rating agencies that have led Greece, Ireland and Portugal to the ruins (Moody's, Standard & Poor's, and Fitch) will resume their attacks.

What do they sign when they ratify the Euro Pact?

AN ENSLAVEMENT PACT!

(Greater sacrifices for the people with austerity measures in the public domain that result in: delaying the retirement age in Europe, wage cuts, elimination of social services, cuts in pensions, cuts in health and education, increasing taxes, cuts in research development & investigation, adjusting wages to productivity and competitiveness, etc. ONCE AGAIN.)

SEE BY YOURSELF:

- The public sector salaries should be consistent with the competitiveness of the private sector, WHICH MEANS: further cuts in the public sector as it must offer the same benefits as the private sector´s derisory wages and increasing working hours. This fascist measures, includes a sharp cut in public employees numbers.

- Therefore all countries should adjust their laws to the dictates of the banks, WHICH MEANS governments are ONCE AGAIN not legislating for citizens interests protection, but in the favors of markets and large banking corporations.

- The new retirement age will be delayed in all the countries in accordance with life expectancy.

- Enhancing competitiveness: linking wages to productivity, just like what has already been done in Spain with the latest labor reform which calls for more flexible redundancy laws, more flexible labor agreements and more flexible contracts, thus endangering the current collective negotiation labor laws system.

- To foster cheap lay-offs and Temporary Employment Agencies (TEA). The banks will lower the financial strains to encourage the hiring of workers, and in doing so will demolish the Social Security system and will be introducing the figure of "the perpetual intern and the perpetual precarious worker”.

- All pensions freezing.

- More Reduction on Social Benefits.

- Social protection Systems Reduction, worsening the Social Security system.

- More Cuts and Reduction on Social Education System, resulting in poorer results, which are conditions that favors and promote its ultimate privatization.

- Increased direct and indirect taxes for citizens, small and medium businesses and penalties for not complying with the payment of these taxes through fines, interest, fees, etc.

- Changes to our constitution and that of the signatory countries with the aim of "adjusting the economy within the parameters of the IMF, ECB and World Bank” resulting in the loss of sovereignty of the people.

ONCE AGAIN, governments do not use political power to legislate and to stop the provokers of the crisis and international banks and large hedge funds, for example, stepping in against financial corporations. Instead, with the signing of the Pact of the Euro scheduled for June 27, will strengthen the large financial corporations and adopt policies that are of interest to banks and large European companies. As if we hadn´t had enough, all governments independently of their political color, will sign this agreement to commit to large financial corporations and thus, as ever, SACRIFICE EUROPEAN CITIZENS ONCE AGAIN, enabling the Global Elite Financiers to continue play with peoples life as coins in a casino, defrauding the world using financial products that are as sophisticated as they are risky and fraudulent, permitting bank usury and more countries bankruptcy.

ONCE AGAIN using deception to deal with debt crisis they create and that grips Europe, increasing false idea and false policy that competitiveness of national economies can only be achieved by reducing labor costs ... ONCE AGAIN.

Still no mention of intervention in tax havens where the great fortunes rest or making laws against tax evasion. Still none talk about taxing financial transactions, no rating agencies regulation, etc. Still none mention of measures against unemployment and in favor of social welfare.

Still there is no consideration for a public and independent audit of the public debt in order to enable citizens to know what the debt really is and what part of it actually corresponds to the banks and private equity funds which according to the data we have constitutes most of the PUBLIC DEBT.

ONCE AGAIN, we are served the impoverishment of society on a platter in benefit of expanding the great fortunes and accentuating the social divide.

In this way, the historical record of the profits of large financial corporations are ONCE AGAIN enlarged even more, the record high salaries of CEOs and executives will increase even more, and thus we reach record levels of poverty and unemployment.

The difficulty of accessing this information is due to the lack of political transparency and the fear that ALL EUROPEAN CITIZENS will TAKE THE STREETS.

WE HAVE POWERFUL REASONS; ONCE AGAIN, TAKE THE STREETS

THERE ARE REASONS; ONCE AGAIN, TAKE THE STREET

19th June, hour: 19:00 (GMT+1)
ALL STREETS AND SQUARES OF SPAIN AND EUROPE

- The public sector salaries should be consistent with the competitiveness of the private sector, WHICH MEANS: further cuts in the public sector as it must offer the same benefits as the private sector´s derisory wages and increasing working hours. Including a sharp cut in the numbers of public employees.

- Therefore all countries should adjust their laws to the dictates of the banks, WHICH MEANS governments are ONCE AGAIN not legislating for the protection and interests of citizens but in the favour of large banking corporations and the markets.

- The retirement age will be delayed in all the countries in accordance with life expectancy.

- Enhancing competitiveness: linking wages to productivity, just like what has already been done in Spain with the latest labour reform which calls for more flexible redundancy laws, more flexible labour agreements and more flexible contracts, thus endangering the current system of collective negotiation of labour laws.

- To foster cheap lay-offs and Temporary Employment Agencies (TEA). The banks will lower the financial strains to encourage the hiring of workers, and in doing so will demolish the Social Security system and will be introducing the figure of "the perpetual intern and the perpetual precarious worker”.

- The freezing of all pensions.

- Reduction of social benefits.

- Reduction of the social protection systems, worsening the Social Security system.

- Reduction of spending on education, resulting in poorer results, which are conditions that favour and promote its ultimate privatisation.

As if we hadn´t had enough, all governments independently of their political colour, will sign this agreement to commit to large financial corporations and thus, as ever, sacrifice the citizens ONCE AGAIN, enabling the financiers to continue defrauding the world using financial products that are as sophisticated as they are risky and fraudulent, and permitting bank usury.

Using the deception that to deal with the debt crisis that grips Europe, increasing the competitiveness of national economies can only be achieved by reducing labour costs ... ONCE AGAIN.

Still no mention of intervention in tax havens where the great fortunes rest or making laws against tax evasion. Still no talk of taxing financial transactions, regulating rating agencies, etc. Still no mention of measures against unemployment and in favour of social welfare.

In this way, the historical record of the profits of large financial corporations are ONCE AGAINenlarged even more, the record high salaries of CEOs and executives will increase even more, and thus we reach record levels of poverty and unemployment.

The difficulty of accessing this information is due to the lack of political transparency and the fear that ALL OF EUROPE will TAKE THE STREET.

THERE ARE REASONS; ONCE AGAIN, TAKE THE STREET
