European Union Economic Crisis; International Antibanks Resistance Petition Demands Ireland Government To Protect Irish People Homes Against Banksters Assault

PROTECT IRISH HOMES FROM BANKS - HELP US DEMAND THE PROTECTION OF OUR GOVERNMENT - HELP US GET FAIRER USA STYLE SYSTEM

Today is a memorable day in Portugal. A IMF ECB EU TROIKA MAFIA Man was assaulted in Lisbon by portuguese Hero - Viriatus Lusitanus.

Resistance, Antibanks, Ireland, International, Protect, Assault, People, Against, banksters,

Why this is important

Irish Premier Enda Kenny described the homeowner debt crisis - following economic collapse; bursting of the property bubble and the treasonous merging of Sovereign and Banker Debt a the biggest national crisis facing Irish people since the Land Wars in the British Colonial Days of the late 19th Century. In Ireland there is no sharing of debt risk between the lender and borrower. However, Government is bringing in reasonably progressive new legislation on debt management BUT unbelievably are giving the Bankers a Veto on participation in its debt resolution processes. This will make the new law useless. Banks, through the courts are already evicting one homeowner per day. The present law disables a Judge from taking any circumstances into account other than the bank paperwork. This is unjust on a population of 4.5 million (2 million workforce - 800,000 mortgages) on which some €50 billion of Bank bailout debt has been placed and which will impoverish generations to come.

SIGN THIS PETITION

We ask that the new Insolvency Bill prioritises the protection of Irish homes, in line with the principles of social justice and common good enshrined in the Irish Constitution by leveling the playing field between banks and families. Bankers must not be given a Veto on participation in the debt resolution processes under the new Insolvency law. We urge you to change the existing law to allow Judges more flexibility in deciding on banker requested eviction orders and to consider shared risk in mortgage debt between the lender and the borrower.

TO be delivered to:

Enda Kenny, Taoiseach (Prime Minister), Republic of Ireland

be delivered to:
Eamon Gilmore, Tánaiste (Assistant Prime Minister) Republic of Ireland

OWS World Revolution Antibanks Music: Talking Italy, Portugal, Spain Austerity! Michel Montecrossa! Occupy Wall Street

Talking Italy, Portugal, Spain Austerity

Michel Montecrossa's 'Talking Italy, Portugal, Spain Austerity - song for 15 October 2011 Global Mass Protests'

Michel Montecrossa says:

"The song 'Talking Italy, Portugal, Spain Austerity' is dedicated to the Global Mass Protests of 15 October 2011, the day of Global Revolution for change in finance and politics.
'Austerity', 'Downgrading', 'Bail Out' are slogans used by bankas and politos to hide the simple trick of taking away the people's tax money and giving it to the banks and the rich so that the 99% get poorer and the 1% gets richer.
Italy, Portugal, Spain, Greece and always more countries are threatened by this wrong banka and polito action.""

Song Lyrics
TALKING ITALY, PORTUGAL, SPAIN AUSTERITY
Now they drive us down the road of pain, / the people of Italy, Portugal, Spain. / Just as they do it with the people of Greece / they downgrade us to favor the rich.
A war rages between politos and bankas / for power over us, the people. / The bankas now win almost every day / and drive us down the poverty way.
People wake up! People stand up! / The people know what the people need! / The people can set the people free! / The people, you know, the people are we!
Banka speculators want our tax money / to become bail out funds for them, / want control over us, the only real value, / by turning us into cheap and mindless slaves.
Politos are there to help the people, / not to join the banka-gansta-gang. / Politos must change the financial game, / put right what went wrong for a happy end.
People wake up! People stand up! / The people know what the people need! / The people can set the people free! / The people, you know, the people are we!
People wake up! People stand up! / The people know what the people need! / The people can set the people free! / The people, you know, the people are we!

traduzione testo - Talking Italy, Portugal, Spain Austerity

I bankas ora vincono quasi tutti i giorni

facendoci diventare schiavi a buon mercato e senza cervello.

We must think beyond those who have gone before us, and discover technological changes that embolden us with ways to act in which our forebears could not. Occupy the London Stock Exchange

London Stock Exchange

10 Paternoster Square

London, United Kingdom

Alright you peaceful redeemers, rebels, anarchists, truthers, students, and utopian dreamers out there...

o radically shift regime behavior we must think clearly and boldly for if we have learned anything, it is that regimes do not want to be changed. We must think beyond those who have gone before us, and discover technological changes that embolden us with ways to act in which our forebears could not. Firstly we must understand what aspect of government or neocorporatist behavior we wish to change or remove. Secondly we must develop a way of thinking about this behavior that is strong enough carry us through the mire of politically distorted language, and into a position of clarity. Finally must use these insights to inspire within us and others a course of ennobling, and effective action
We are a people-powered movement, protesting against the increasing social and economic injustice in this country. Since the financial crisis the government has made sure to maintain the status quo and let the people who caused this crisis get off scot-free, whilst conversely ensuring that the people of this country pay the price, in particular those most vulnerable. What we have in common is that we are the other 99%, that we want People over Profit, that we are making our voices heard against greed and corruption and for a democratic and just society. And we are doing that in a non-violent and peaceful way.

A worldwide shift in revolutionary tactics is underway right now that bodes well for the future. The spirit of this fresh tactic, a fusion of Tahrir with the acampadas of Spain, is captured in this quote:

The antiglobalization movement was the first step on the road. Back then our model was to attack the system like a pack of wolves. There was an alpha male, a wolf who led the pack, and those who followed behind. Now the model has evolved. Today we are one big swarm of people.
— Raimundo Viejo, Pompeu Fabra University, Barcelona, Spain

The beauty of this new formula, and what makes this novel tactic exciting, is its pragmatic simplicity: we talk to each other in various physical gatherings and virtual people's assemblies … we zero in on what our one demand will be, a demand that awakens the imagination and, if achieved, would propel us toward the radical democracy of the future … and then we go out and seize a square of singular symbolic significance and put our asses on the line to make it happen

In a Facebook Event called Occupy the London Stock Exchange, organisers call on crowds to march on the exchange’s headquarters at Paternoster Square and fortify it with tents and barricades “for a few months”.

“Beginning on October 15, we want to see at least over 20,000 people flood into lower St Pauls, set up tents, kitchens, peaceful barricades and occupy the London Stock Exchange for a few months. Once there, we shall incessantly repeat one simple demand in a plurality of voices,” reads the description of the protest on Facebook.

“The beauty of this new formula, and what makes this novel tactic exciting, is its pragmatic simplicity: we talk to each other in various physical gatherings and virtual people’s assemblies … we zero in on what our one demand will be, a demand that awakens the imagination and, if achieved, would propel us toward the radical democracy of the future … and then we go out and seize a square of singular symbolic significance and put our asses on the line to make it happen…”

According to the group the protest will begin at 4.30pm on Saturday October 15 and run until 11am on December 12.

The event currently has 151 confirmed attendees, with a further 89 tentative yes’s, despite the site failing to list any aims or objectives for the event, or exactly what is being protested against.

GIABO OWS California Antibanks Revolution: Mass Mobilization Make Wall Street Banks Pay

GIABO OWS California Antibanks, Banks, People, Job, Revolution, Mass Mobilization, Make Wall Street Banks Pay, Global Insurretion Against Bankers Occupation
Mass Mobilization to Make Wall Street Pay

Is occupying squares the right action? People know that the greedy 1% are the culprits. Still activists try to bring their message to The People. Still they are disappointed when the media – controlled by the 1% - don’t publish their activity. Still there is no direct pressure on the greedy grabbers. So we never get a Humane World. Be active around the slogan:

“Make Wall Street Pay! Make Banks Pay! Make Corporations Pay!

Make Wall Street Pay!"

GIABO - Global Insurretion Against Bankers Occupation

California St. San Francisco, CA

Make Wall Street Banks Pay in California

Join Refund CA coalition for a march on San Francisco's financial district on Thursday Sept. 29 from 3-6pm.

The goal of the coalition is to shift the debate of the economic crisis around whether the budget crisis should be solved with spending cuts or new revenue, to a debate about who should pay to solve the crisis- students and workers, or Wall Street.

A week of escalating actions throughout the week, including a bank divestment action, and a "clean-up" action, are being planned for Monday Sept. 26 - Thursday Sept. 29th, targeting Wells Fargo, Bank of American, and possibly Chase Bank and concluding with a march on SF's financial district on Thursday the 29th.

The main message/demand is: "Big banks crashed our economy and destroyed our communities. Budget cuts threaten our schools, libraries, and social services. We bailed out the banks. Now they need to pay."

__________________________________________________________________

It is important for us to remember that Bank of America, Wells Fargo, and other banks broke no laws in not paying any taxes this year. They didn’t have to because their lobbyists helped to write the tax laws.

Large corporations like Bank of America are incapable of making the kind of pledge our nation’s founders made to each other at the end of their declaration. By law they must put the economic interest of their shareholders above everything else.

Corporations like Bank of America must be put in their place. This begins by insisting that if corporations want to be afforded the same rights as citizens, they must take on the same responsibilities of citizens.

It is time for Banks and corporations to pay their fair share of taxes and to stop purchasing special privileges and entitlements that are not available to flesh-and-blood citizens.

Statement from the Occupiers of Wall Street
Third Communiqué: A Message From Occupied Wall Street
Published 2011-09-20 12:50:30 UTC by OccupyWallSt

We're still here. We intend to stay until we see movements toward real change in our country and the world. This is the third communiqué from the 99 percent.

Today, we occupied Wall Street from the heart of the Financial District. Starting at 8:00 AM, we began a march through the Wall Street area, rolling through the blocks around the New York Stock Exchange. At 9:30 AM, we rang our own "morning bell" to start a "people's exchange," which we brought back to Liberty Plaza. Two more marches occurred during the day around the Wall Street district, each drawing more supporters to us.

Hundreds of us have been occupying One Liberty Plaza, a park in the heart of the Wall Street district, since Saturday afternoon. We have marched on the Financial District, held a candlelight vigil to honor the fallen victims of Wall Street, and filled the plaza with song, dance, and spontaneous acts of liberation.

Food has been donated to the plaza from supporters all over the world. Online donations for pizza, falafels, and other food are coming in from supporters in Omaha, Madrid, Montreal, and other cities, and have exceeded $8,660. (Link to donate: www.wepay.com/donate/99275)

On Saturday we held a general assembly, two thousand strong, based on a consensus-driven decision-making process. Decisions were made for the group to occupy Liberty Plaza in the Wall Street corridor, bedding down in sleeping bags and donated blankets. By 8:00 PM on Monday we still held the plaza, despite constant police presence.

We speak as one. All of our decisions, from our choices to march on Wall Street to our decision to camp at Liberty Plaza were decided through a consensus process by the group, for the group. We are building the world that we want to see, based on human need and sustainability, not corporate greed.

Planned and spontaneous actions will continue throughout the coming days. Expect us.

USDOR Antibanks Resistance Movement: Boston People Protests Against Bank of America

World Revolution Antibanks Resistance Movement: Boston People Protests Against Bank of America
Global Economic Crisis. Antibanks Bailouts Global Resistance World Revolution Movement.
People Against NWO New World Order Criminal Bankers

American Citizens Protestors descend on Boston Bank of America, ramp up to fall excitement

Dozens of protesters descended on Boston Bank of America branches today, following the company’s announcement that it will slash more than 30,000 jobs in the coming months. This was the first, exciting, taste of dozens of actions, events, trainings and more happening this Fall targeting the big banks for draining wealth from our communities and crashing the economy.

With shouts of “Bank of America: Bad for America” and “We can see your greedy side!,” local residents stormed bank branches in Fields Corner and Grove Hall, presenting three core demands of the financial giant:

Pledge to renegotiate underwater mortgages and stop foreclosures
Resume lending to small businesses
Stop layoffs
Despite its claims of financial hardship in the media, Bank of America posted a $10.2 billion profit in 2010 – and raked in an additional $1 billion federal tax refund. The company pointed to fallout from the housing bust as the rationale for its latest round of mass layoffs. Bank of America holds the largest number of foreclosed properties in the country, but refuses to renegotiate with many former homeowners.

Stay tuned for more information on how the big banks will come head-to-head with their most formidable foe yet-you.

WorldRevolution USDOR: American Banks Victims Plans Antibanks Protests Across USA

Global Economic Crisis World Revolution

Foreclosure Victims Plan Antibanks Protests Across the USA

Wake Up and Revolt Against the Criminal Banks Banksters Gangsters Gang Mafia or before they Kill you they Gone Enslave you. So, People must Revolt!.

Victims of the foreclosure mess and housing crisis are taking to the streets -- literally. Street demonstrations are being planned in 10 cities, and in the crowd at the first one you are going to see Dixie Mitchell, a 74-year-old cancer survivor who refinanced her paid-off home to help one of the foster kids in her care -- and is now losing it in a foreclosure.

Mitchell, who along with her 76-year-old husband raised eight biological children and 50 foster children in this house, says that she intends to make her voice heard loud and clear as she marches in front of bank offices in Seattle on Sept. 21. The march is the first in a 10-city rollout of protests against Wall Street Criminals (Americans to Wall Street: “Pay US Back”), organized by The New Bottom Line (Wall Street, Bank of America Pay US Back), a coalition of community groups that challenges big banks' role in the housing crisis.

Mitchell's story is particularly heart-wrenching: She and her husband were doing just fine living in the house they've owned for 44 years until he suffered a stroke that left him paralyzed and cost him his job. The house was fully paid off in the mid-1980s, but they borrowed against it to make roof and kitchen repairs. The straw that broke the camel's back came in 2005, when Mitchell needed to hire a lawyer, at a cost of $20,000, in an effort to keep a 3-year-old boy who had been in her care since he was an infant.

She was advised by the bank to refinance her house to get the cash. She took out an adjustable rate loan that would reset in two years, at which point, Mitchell says, the lender told her that she would be able to refinance into another 30-year-fixed rate loan. But the original loan was bundled and sold multiple times to different lenders. It reset to a higher rate right around the time her husband suffered a massive stroke, and she quickly fell behind in her payments. Without his earnings, her monthly income is just $2,200 in Social Security and her monthly mortgage is $2,568.

Mitchell filed for bankruptcy, tried getting assistance from every social service agency she could think of, spent two years trying to get a loan modification and even offered to rent out rooms to boarders if the bank would just let her keep her house.

"My husband wants to die at home, at our home," she says. Her home is set to be auctioned on Oct. 28 and she has no place to go.

Why is she going to participate in the demonstration?

"I need them [the bank] to look me in the eye and tell me why they think it's better to put people out in the street," she said. "They haven't done their share to help. They don't even give you a chance ... all they do is lose your paperwork and make you send it over and over again. Each time you talk to somebody, you get a different answer."

Dixie Mitchell

Those are sentiments shared by many

Wake Up and Revolt Against the Criminal Banks Banksters Gangsters Gang Mafia or before they Kill you they Gone Enslave you. So, People must Revolt!.

LeeAnn Hall, executive director of Alliance for a Just Society and one of the organizational members of The New Bottom Line, said the Seattle area protests will be staged both in downtown Seattle and at the annual policy summit meeting of the Association of Washington Business, a statewide chamber of commerce. The meeting is being held in Suncadia, a mountain resort near Cle Elum, Wash. The governor is expected to attend the meeting and Hall said that the group hopes to engage her.

Subsequent demonstrations are planned across the country in Boston, Chicago, Denver, Los Angeles, New York City, San Francisco and other locations.

The New Bottom Line said that it is targeting "big banks that bankrupted the country and drained wealth from American families." The direct actions primarily target JPMorgan Chase, Bank of America and Wells Fargo, and include taking over bank buildings, meetings of corporate officials, civil disobedience, prayer vigils and mass mobilizations.

"We are struggling with less and less, while the big banks profit more and more," said George Goehl, executive director of National People's Action, another organizational member of The New Bottom Line. "The big banks have done nothing but dodge taxes, throw people out of their homes and choke small business, all the while draining our wealth to pad their bottom line. It's time for JPMorgan Chase, Bank of America and Wells Fargo to pay us back."

According to a press statement, the group's goals are that banks:

• Pay their fair share of taxes -- their statutorily required 35 percent corporate income tax and not "game" the system through off-shore tax shelters and loopholes.

• Stabilize the housing market and revitalize the economy by reducing principal for all underwater homeowners to current-market value. "This would end the foreclosure crisis, reset the housing market, pump billions of dollars back into the economy and create one million jobs a year," the group says.

• Invest in American jobs by using their trillions of dollars in cash reserves to invest in small businesses -- the main source of jobs in the U.S. -- and other job-generating investments.

GlobalRevolution OCCUPYWALLSTREET Antibanks Protests One Liberty Plaza Camping: Occupied Wall Street People’s Assembly Message

A Message From Occupied Wall Street
GlobalRevolution OCCUPYWALLSTREET Antibanks Protests One Liberty Plaza Camping: Occupied Wall Street People’s Assembly Message, World Revolution, Revolution, American Revolution

We Occupy Wall Street

Camping. In front of One Liberty Plaza

This is the first communiqué from the 99 percent. We are occupying Wall Street.
On September 17th, 2011, approximately 2,000 of us marched on the Financial District. At twelve noon, a detachment of us marched on the head of Wall Street and formed a spontaneous blockade, prompting the New York Police Department to threaten arrest. Speakers including the Reverend Billy Talen of the Church of Stop Shopping, and actress Rosanne Barr spoke on the steps of the American Indian Smithsonian Museum to the crowd, which included conscious rappers Lupe Fiasco and Immortal Technique.

Over 1,000 of us marched from Bowling Green Park amid heavy police presence, across the Financial District and chanting “Wall Street is our street” and “power to the people, not to the banks.” Many stayed at One Liberty Plaza, where later in the evening a meal was served and water was distributed. Song, dance, puppetry, and other art added cheer across the plaza.

Two thousand strong, we held a general assembly, based upon a consensus-driven decision-making process. Decisions were made for the group to occupy One Liberty Plaza in the Wall Street corridor through the evening, bedding down in sleeping bags and donated blankets. Another assembly is scheduled for 10 AM ET today.
We speak as one. All of our decisions, from our choices to march on Wall Street to our decision to camp at One Liberty Plaza were decided through a consensus process by the group, for the group.

People Take Wall Street Square

Occupy wall street march

Yes we march. This protest is a necessary development of society.

It looks a little like the 60's again to me..."freedom of assembly"? remember all the unrest about the Viet Nam War. All the money that was being spent overseas creating mayhem took resources out of our society so only the TOUGHEST could survive. The Flower Children of the 60's had similar causes, I guess there wasn't so much then... war, poisoning of the environment, corruption in the court system, holes in social services, pharmaceutical drugs, strip mining, oil spills, poverty, child labor...

GlobalRevolution: OCCUPYWALLSTREET Antibanks Resistance Movement Statement

Who is Occupy Wall Street? - Call (877) 881-3020 for Help & Directions

Occupy Wall Street is leaderless resistance movement with people of many colors, genders and political persuasions. The one thing we all have in common is that We Are The 99% that will no longer tolerate the greed and corruption of the 1%.

“The one thing we all have in common is that We Are The 99% that will no longer tolerate the greed and corruption of the 1%,” said a statement on the website Occupy Wall Street.
According to statements on the website, the movement, an offshoot of online magazine AdBusters, is angered by what it calls the principle of “profit over and above all else,” which it says has dominated not only America’s economic policies, but also the way in which Americans view culture and humanity.

Like our brothers and sisters in Egypt, Greece, Spain, and Iceland, we plan to use the revolutionary Arab Spring tactic of mass occupation to restore democracy in America. We also encourage the use of nonviolence to achieve our ends and maximize the safety of all participants.

The original call for this occupation was published by Adbusters in July; since then, many individuals across the country have stepped up to organize this event, such as the people of the NYC General Assembly and US Day of Rage. There'll also be similar occupations in the near future such as October2011 in Freedom Plaza, Washington D.C.

We've just set up a toll free number so people attending the occupation can receive simple directions and help. There's no pesky robots or queues at the moment, your call will go directly to a volunteer. If you can't get through or it hangs up, it probably means all volunteers are busy so try again five minutes later. This service is also anonymous—your caller id will not appear on our volunteers' phones.

The number is: (877) 881-3020

For general inquiries, please email the NYC organizers at: 9.17occupywallstreet@gmail.com

I'd like to thank our volunteers and a recent generous donor to the telecom fund for making this service possible <3
